Christmas Nail Colors
A red manicure, green tips or one gold accent can carry a Christmas palette without turning every nail into a decoration.
Plan the accent before adding more sparkle
One festive detail is enough
Start with the part you want people to notice. Gold glitter on one nail gives a different balance from gold on every finger. A green tip over a pale base leaves the manicure lighter; a full forest green coat makes the color more prominent.
For a traditional palette, compare red with a deeper burgundy before adding green. Burgundy gives the combination a darker feel. Milky white can separate those strong colors in a mixed manicure.
Match the metal in your outfit
If your jewelry is mostly silver, try a silver accent before choosing gold by habit. Keep the sparkle similar across the set: very fine shimmer and large glitter flakes won't read as the same finish. A photograph of the whole hand helps more than five separate bottle shots.
