Spring Nail Colors

Spring palettes can use pale green, lilac and peach without making every nail pastel. One clearer accent can give the softer colors more definition.

Give a soft spring palette a focal point

Choose the flower or the background first

For floral art, decide which part should stand out. A white flower on sage green has a different balance from a lilac flower on milky white. Start with that contrast, then choose the remaining details around it.

For a plain manicure, mint green and pastel lilac offer two cooler directions. Peach pink warms the palette; butter yellow adds a different light tone without repeating the pink. A stronger coral detail can prevent a mixed pastel set from looking too uniform.

Keep the light shades distinct

Very pale colors can look similar in small thumbnails. Open the individual references and compare them at a larger size. Opacity matters for small motifs too: a sheer bottle won't necessarily give a solid petal or dot just because its swatch looks opaque.
